Welcome to EXPLORE DELMARVA!
When Captain John Smith first sailed up the Chesapeake Bay he marveled at the bountiful nature of this largest of North America's Estuaries. Over two hundred years later there still remains a viable
remnant of that time. In fact descendants of those early explorers still hunt and fish the waters of the land we call DELMARVA.
Virginia's and Maryland's Eastern Shores, as well as the state of Delaware comprise an island nestled between Chesapeake Bay to the west and Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean to the east. This Island is within close proximity to some of the largest metropolitan areas in the United States, chiefly Baltimore, Washington,
Philadelphia and New York.
Our hope is to provide a service where our travel professionals as well as guides, hotel operators, and other service vendors can show you the best our area has to offer. We have sampled the services offered here and find them to be highly representative of the area.

open up some of the opportunities available for the public here on the
